(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:21, Reply)
Well, yes.
That's how we're going to go there.

Where is the source of the Thames?
Somewhere in the Cotswolds, I'm guessing.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:26, Reply)
Near Cirencester.

Fair enough
That sounds like a damned good adventure to me.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:30, Reply)
It shall be.
Driving between Cirencester, Oxford, Goring, Henley, Reading, London and the Isle of Sheppey, taking in Whitstable and Canterbury at the end. I can't fucking wait!

You've got to try and fit Woolwich car ferry in, if it still operates.
I used to love going on that.

Edit - yes it does:-

There's a massive pink robot on the boat.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:38, Reply)
Well how else would it get from East London to Greenwich?

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:40, Reply)
If it's still there I'm going.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:42, Reply)
The ferry is worth it anyway
Regardless of the presence of cross-Thames commuting robots.
(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:43, Reply)
Convince me.

(, Wed 19 Jan 2011, 19:45, Reply)
Its free
And you get to see the river from another angle - and all the stuff around the river.

And the robot likes it.

Seriously, it's a great experience and it's worth making a bit of a diversion for, especially on a Thames themed trip.

Right you are, I'll see what the navigator says.
