I used to play Warmhammers as a kid, the future one and the past one.
We were just kids though and the rules were really complicated so we just made them up and generally agreed with what was happening.

Anyway, I imagine it would be just like that, making up the rules as you go along. "Wait a sec, when you rolled a 7 I had to [do some horrific act].... but now you've rolled a 7 it means we put on a DVD and I have do the washing up?"
