she's not, is she? I mean, I utterly refuse to accept that being massively attention-seeking is genuinely something you can compliment them by saying they are "good" at. It's like being "good" at genocide or child-murder, really.

I disagree.
Some people are born entertainers and are good at being on stage and engaging with the audience but you don't need to like their music to acknowledge this.

I like some of her music, but regardless of that there's loads of musicians I don't like but can appreciate that they're good.
