I wouldn't agree with that - I had some spectular teachers who always had really good classes,and they just helped by making sure people knew they were open to listening if there were problems.

I may be biasedbecause my dad has always gravitated towards working in disadvantaged schools, but kids with real genuine problems who sometimes shouldn't be in mainstream education at all need more than a listening ear.
