I think the problem with getting a Windows phone would be that I use Mac.They probably integrate, but you know.

Apparently it's not a problem.Calender/Contacts/Mail _should_ sync with Google or Live (hotmail), although I've not used it.

I'm not sure about backing up things like applications and all that though.
