mmm, Fear Factory
been a while.

I've not heard either The Bezerker or Evile. I've been out of the metal game for quite a while, so am trying to catch up with the help of a few worthy individuals. Lab has been reasonably helpful ;-)

Evile are balls-to-the-wall thrash
Saw them at Bloodstock after a pitiful first day, they reminded me why I was there, put me in a fantastic mood. I'm also going to see them tomorrow night, should be fucking superb.

The Berzerker used to be mentally heavy, very OTT. Their drummer is phenomenal though. It used to be claimed that their drummer couldn't do it live, so they released rehearsal footage, which shut people up in quite a hurry.

Evile are good thrash, but I found The Berzerker too death-y for me
I have one of the new Fear Factory songs on repeat, Mechanize is powerful!

Berzerker are one of the bands where I can see why many people don't like them
I just think they're superb, saw them a few years back as part of a full day gig, met them afterwards. Fucking brilliant night.

I saw them years ago in Manchester
A mate told me they had gabba/hardcore influences. I was disappointed.

Well, certainly not the way I'd describe them
Although I think I'd use the word 'fucking' quite a few times.
