You've just named two utterly shite songs
and one song that was a note for note rip off of "How Sweet to be an Idiot"

Google appears to agree on the second part
Tbh, they're the only ones I don't find insufferably shit.

how can you consider 'decent' and not 'insufferably shit' to mean the same?

You're a decent guy, after all.

No no no emo, you can't dodge the question that easily.
You changed your tune quicker than a south african taxi driver then, I would like you to have a go at explaining that please.

That one really went straight over your head, didn't it?
I mean I don't hate them, and will listen to them from time to time, but never by choice.

I got the joke, I just don't like it when people avoid questions.

I agree
In fact the first time my mother heard Whatever she said "Thats a Neil Innes rip-off" and started singing How Sweet to be an Idiot along to it.

They had to pay a lot of money to the original writer

(, Mon 21 Feb 2011, 14:50, Reply)
The original writer being Neil Innes
He got a Co-Writing credit and subsequent royalties that doesn't necessarily mean he got a lot of money out of it. Depends what it made really. What's ironic is Neil Innes was a Beatles satirist.
