I have lived on my own for...hmm...seven or eight years nowwell, in halls/shared houses for a little bit of that, but I was only ever cooking for myself, and I have never not cooked on the basis of 'well it's only for me'. Plenty of times I've not cooked on the basis of 'I really can't be arsed tonight', but home cooked food is sooooo much nicer and easier than some crap in a microwaveable plastic tray.

I've not really done microwave foodmostly it's just pasta or things you put in the oven. Perhaps I will make something nice next weekend
