my old 205 was brilliant
partly because it cost me £200, partly because it was really quick and like a go-kart, but all of the new ones are fucking dreadful.

Same as the Vauxhalls, cars have tripled in weight, engines have stayed the same size. I object to having to change down to 3rd gear to continute doing 40mph up a bit of a hill in a 1.8 Astra.

My A3, for all its faults
the main one being an elusive gremlin in the engine, is a really quick car. It does the sprint in under 8 seconds, which is plenty fast enough for day to day driving. I'd love an S3, though.
