write a list of points
then fill out the bits in between. Don't worry about the start until you've finished

Once you've written it write a opening paragraph saying something like: In this essay I am going to explore the relationship between x and y and prove that z is true. Or some such shit.

What do I know, i've managed to get this far through life only having written about 3 essays, No idea how that is possible.

I let the Resident managers know I found it and told them to send anyone over if someone came to them this week saying "I lost my 20 bucks and need it to get home blaah" so I can give it back.
