Well I found out an old friend got married in January
and then was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour (at 27) so I'm kinda realising all my whiny shit about working too much was, in the scheme of things, totally fucking pointless. In fact most of the shit people bitch about on here is totally fucking pointless because none of them are dying

Instead I'm thinking, all in all, life is pretty good and I should start making the most of the time I do have. Maybe I'll try learning a new language

:S that's fairly grim
learning a new language isn't the best use of time though surely?

It's a useful skill and means I can run away to forrin lands and blend in after I rob a bank next weekend.

don't learn welsh, then

(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 22:47, Reply)
Welsh isn't a real language

it's just a way to cheat at scrable

Oh god that's horrible
I'm really sorry to hear that. I wish it didn't take shit things to make us count our blessings; I know I'm particularly guilty of bitching about pointless and inconsequential things on here.

Yeah I was feeling shit about my birthday (another year, zero achievments)
but fuck man I'm just happy I'm hitting 26 in (relatively) good health. It's somewhat of a medical mystery how...
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 22:55, Reply)
I know how you feel
why not promise yourself that by the time you hit 27 you'll have done something you'd particularly like to do? :)
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 22:59, Reply)
Because I need a lot of money to do that :p
However I think I'll finally get the new tattoo I've been thinking about
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:00, Reply)
What's it of?
And I might sound like a twat, but yeah good health is something to value. Not enough to stop me drinking mind
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:02, Reply)
Haha, you don't have any cheap ambitions?
Surely working eleventy hundred hours a week is good for something?! New tattoo sounds good though, what are you planning to get?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:03, Reply)
I get paid shit
And I need to finalise it but I want to expand my impossible triangle, maybe all round my wrist just trying to find some decent geometric stuff I like. I've always liked Mayan/Aztec stuff but labs will probably accuse me of wanting to be like him
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:07, Reply)
I'm sure London is chock-full of decent tattooists
but this guy does some pretty good geometric stuff: www.modernbodyart.co.uk/Andy%20galleries/Andy%20gallery/andy%20gallery.html

(I want a tattoo from him but I'm too chickenshit to get one)
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:14, Reply)
I love dotwork stuff
*googles laaandan places*
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:20, Reply)
Ditto
there was mention of me dragging Labs to the London tattoo convention in September, if you fancy that/haven't had something done by then?
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:23, Reply)
oooh tomas tomas is apparently in London
I'd probably still like to look at hot girls with tattoos and be jealous
(, Sun 13 Mar 2011, 23:47, Reply)
