Yep.
They now also have a rather hot female fiddle player. Miles was in a very good mood on Friday night, too.

Glad you enjoyed it!
Was it a 'beautiful day'?
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 0:23, Reply)
No, it was pissing down in Glasgow all day Saturday.
And snowing. We holed up in a few pubs until it was time to get the train.

Sounds like a top weekend DG
The Levellers are one of those strange bands, I managed to see them about 4 times (by accident) in the space of about 6 weeks, and I've never seen them again since.

They played Levelling the Land in its entirity
plus some b sides and a couple of later tracks (of which Beautiful Day was one). Superb.

Are they touring together
Or was this more of a one-off-type thing?
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 0:33, Reply)
No, touring together.
Good combination.

I can imagine.
Got any other gigs booked in at the moment?
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 0:37, Reply)
Who, me or them?
If me, then no apart from a mate's charity night on Good Friday; three very good local bands, playing a benefit gig for another mate who died suddenly last year. Apart from that, nothing - need to start trying to get the overdraft under control again.

Any news on your redundancy?

Just waiting on confirmation of a date.
Could be end of this month, or end of June. It's not a case of 'if' but 'when'. I just want to know so I can plan properly.

Well I hope the transition goes smoothly for you.
How long have you been with your current employer?
(, Mon 14 Mar 2011, 0:46, Reply)
4.5 years
but I have 19 years of continuous service, so the payout is worth taking. I can pay off some debt and have enough to live on for a year, although I hope it doesn't come to that and I get another job fairly quickly. I am bricking it a bit, though.

On that note I'm off to bed. 'Night all!
