I strongly believe that the purpose of life is too enjoy oneself
otherwise why would being happy feel so good.

I enjoy myself greatly spending time with my friends and loved ones, making music, surfing, that kind of thing, and beyond that I am fairly content. I've never felt driven to travel, I don't really know what I want to do for a living. I'm good at what I do now, so I will continue to do that while it is still vaguely enjoyable, or until something better comes along.

I am a fairly simple creature.

Good for you.
I used to feel the same way about travelling but now older I want to see the world.

that's fair enough
there are a few things I'd like to see and do. One of the few ambitions I have is to see the Northern Lights, (preferrably while smoking Northern Lights)

I don't like the actual travelling part though, I find it uncomfortable, stressful and tedious at best.

Me too. I hate the travelling part but I put up with it for the end result.
I loathe flying. I'm not scared but I'm slightly claustraphoic and prone to panic attacks so I have to take medicine. When I travelled to Thailand it was a nightmare. I couldn't sleep on the plane, we had to change at Hong Kong and I hated every minute but once in Thailand it was fantastic.
