My mum's always said I should have gone into authoring, copywriting or journalism.
I didn't, simply because I didn't want to be that guy who did what his mum wanted him to, but secretly I wanted to too. It's probably too late now, what with needing a proper full-time job and everything, and having dozens of other aspirations too, but I'd like to think that one day I'll publish again.

My aunt was in the publishing business...might talk to her about it. She did a similar degree to me.

My fiction was always admired, too. But I'm out of touch.

I had a few short editorial articles published in an internet research journal in the late nineties.
Wish I'd kept up with it in honesty, I really enjoyed the whole process. I wouldn't want to do anything so serious now, and I wish I could be arsed to sit and write the three articles I've got drafts set for at Coll3ctive, but I'm just unmotivated at the moment. Story of my life.

but I have little to write about. At the moment my world consists of food, bed, uni and buddies, and not much exciting happens.

Stick a note on your phone or diary any time you think of anything to write about
then when you get the urge you'll have a topic. I've specifically got two posts waiting to be written but just can't be arsed at the moment.
