Hmm.A couple of years ago when the goobmint was trying to save money, our chief exec stood at the front of the boardroom and said "We are trying to negotiate the cost of living pay rise, and I will not take my bonus until it is settled".
Two months later, we never got our cost of living rise. Our chief exec gladly pocketed his bonus of £30k.
