I don't understand why sending a letter in my crabbed, incomprehensible handwriting is any more thoughtful than nice, clear typed words. In fact, I feel I'm doing them a favour.

I have a fountain pen for writing letters. Improves my handwriting by 3000%. Makes it almost legible.
