we got told by an ex minerthat if you were underground and needed a piss, you pissed on the disused coalface. Anyway, if you turned off your lamp, you could be a bastard and piss on the one your mate is working on.
Unfortunately if you got found out, you were likely to find a shit in your coat pocket the next day
