that said I spent 11 hours in work last Sunday completing the work for the HSE visit, and when they came they didn't even look at our lab.

As for me, I now have a working program which will arrange all the data into a "result."
Yesterday, for the first time in god-knows-how-long, I felt a frisson of excitement as I typed the code. This was followed by some unexpectedly promising results before I realised I'd made a very stupid mistake and now my results don't look as good. But at least now I can generate the results and I just have to refine the data to get the best out of them.
Well, and there's that massive error calculation I've been putting off. May have to confront that one tomorrow at this rate...
