Hahaha, it wasn't quite like thathe invited me out on saturday thinking it was too short notice and I wouldn't come. But I did, and we chatted and he seemed fine then. I offered him a lift home because I was driving.

That's trouble, he shouldn't have invited you out if he didn't want to see you. Such an early time to put a strike on his card, I bet you a date you can't get him to rack up the other two strikes inside a month.
