Oh god I got sunstroke one time in Cornwall
after spending virtually all day in the pool during a hot sunny say in the summer holidays. Fuck I felt shit.

I've had sunstroke before but prickly heat is fucking awful
It literally felt like every time the sun was on my back I was being stabbed by icy needles. Aged about 9 this does not a good holiday make. I spent most of the time in a freezing cold bath

In the sun I felt freezing cold and in the shade I felt itchy-hot.
It was compounded by chronic sunburn and then chicken pox which came on about three days after I went to the hospital. Fun times.

You'd be surprised, we had a good few days between 30 and 35 deg C last year.

it becomes a bit of a bastard when surfing a lot
because you don't notice.

If the sun is out and I'm not in the sea then I wear a hat these days.

it was about 38 here almost everyday last summer

(, Mon 4 Apr 2011, 13:16, Reply)

I couldn't stand that
(, Mon 4 Apr 2011, 13:17, Reply)

We share the same longitude as Washington I believe
although we're generally somewhat warmer as the jetstream brings lovely warm air when it's in control.

Is Diarrhoea the name of a pretty Amazonian girl?
If so, I applaud your trusting and open relationship.
