For distraint outside of personal stuff such as the shirt on your back and shite like cutlery it's all up for grabs for your debtorsSo you're allowed to carry on 'living' you won't be stripped bare and thrown into the street, but if you're a farmer then all your 'stock' ie cattle sheep etc can be removed and sold to pay for your debts.
