A lot of my friends are doing study-abroad next year
and quite a few involve Spain- mostly Barcelona, though. I will definitely try and visit.

Yes, they're getting points fast there
You have to be really careful with pick pocketing. I don't know about street crime, but yes, you don't walk on your own at night, anywhere.

Never let the opportunity to visit a place with someone who lives there go past you! Barcelona is just fantastic, I'm sure you'll love both places. You can go by fast train Barcelona-Madrid, Madrid-Seville in almost no time too, and if you book the tickets in advance, they're really cheap. Send me a gaz if you need help with the bookings!

And you'll get to go out to the not so expensive places and be able to spend a night clubbing for less than 100e, which in BCN is always a bonus!
