By the way, I do not wish to read about your testicles first thing in the morning, please, old boy. Or, for that matter, at any time of the day or night. Thank you.
In answer to your question, I'm fine in the mornings. I just get up and get on with it. My problem is with afternoons. Once I have had my lunch any sense of urgency I felt (spurred on by nagging hunger) dissipates instantly and I might as well go home via the pub, for all the use I am. Strangely, this is reversed when I've been up all night and then go to work the next day: the morning is unbearable but I perk up again after lunch.

My most humble apologies, Mr Boyce.
I'm generally much the same, actually - for example, this lunchtime I'm off to the pub with a colleague, and I know that the afternoon is going to be a complete fucking write-off. The beer won't help. Obviously this will not stop me drinking it, at least twice.
