Alt: my friend Ben's mother is a restaurant critic for the Evening Standard.
He's eaten some waki stuff in his time, and claims the Carnivore restaurant in Nairobi to be his favourite restaurant of all time. Reading recent reviews it seems you can no longer get game meats there, but according to Ben you used to be able to eat 'all kinds of endangered species' there. I am fucking gutted that I missed the boat on that.

As with Vippers I would say foie gras is one of my all time favourite meat dishes, but for variety I'd take the pig as tastiest...although my favourite meal (certainly in my top two) is a cracking (beef) steak. What a man of contradictions I am.
