In the UK we have two main kinds of squirrel
the Grey and the Red. The red is native to the UK, and now endangered as someone thought it would be a good Idea to introduce the north American grey squirrel to the ecosystem.

Because the grey squirrel carries immunity to diseases
allowing it to infect the native population without consequence
