I grow quite a lot of stuff
I've got a couple of raised beds that I use to grow carrots, peas, spring onions, lettuce, etc etc. I'm also gonna try courgettes this year. It's all a piece of piss. Cabbages didn't seem to work as something ate them all - the same with the strawberries.

I also have quite a few hanging baskets that I'll be planting with petunias and lobellias.

Boring answer is boring.

courgettes are easy as fuck to grow
get some marrow recipes though. You'll go away for a day and come back to find that a courgette has gone from a few inches long to being an enormous marrow in that time.
