I once took a bracing bar that was used in the transport on a laptop trolley to stop it warping in transit. I bent it up and plonked it on my desk, I was about to chuck it in the skip when someone commented that it looked like a sculpture. I promptly signed it with a CD pen and plonked it on ebay under the heading "Unique sculpture by Cornish Artist" Sold for £23 and I got positive feedback. It amuses me that it might be on a shelf somewhere.
