£10 salads no longer available
the company went bust. stop reminding me of my sad, sad loss.

there is NOTHING to eat around here for lunch that is as good (and we are quite spoiled, having a pret, an eat, a paul, boots, sainsburys, tesco, chilango, sainsburys' fresh kitchen, loads of independent delis, pizza express etc etc within a 1 min walk).

I'm not surprised they went bust

to be fair
it was £4.50 for a base and 3 toppings. if you were then greedy and chose to add lots of different vegetables to your salad, it was £1 per extra topping.

but lots of people were perfectly happy with a £4.50 salad.

just not enough people to pay the rent, clearly.

well done.
there is nothing within a mile of here that isn't a sandwich. My heart bleeds for you, it really does.

meh
there have to be some perks to working in central london with the tubes and all the PEOPLE everywhere!

anyway, you get bored sooooo quickly it's untrue. it's like your ipod. how could you get bored with 3,000 songs, you think. but you do.

Do you work in a sandwich warehouse or something?

(, Wed 27 Apr 2011, 10:23, Reply)
haha, I didn't phrase that well, did I?
I meant in terms of vendors of comestible products, there is a sandwich shop on campus. Next nearest is a Tesco 2 miles away, and a pub 2 miles the other way.
