I will be avoiding the wedding by spending all day in a rehearsal studio
It's hardly militant republicanism, but the band are Welsh, so I think that makes a suitably passive-aggressive statement.

Alt: I really need to get better at self-promotion, both on the music front and also in terms of ever getting myself a job. Currently I'm fairly rubbish at it, as I get embarrassed too easily
