Not getting hammered per se
But having been to a gig in London, my friend and I thought it would be a great idea to go to the band's hotel (as suggested by the band - into the microphone, to the whole of Wembley Arena, not whispered coyly into our ears), whereupon we unsurprisingly found lots of other gig-goers and an unimpressed front desk, but no band. We'd missed our last train back so wandered around the capital until 7am, got home in time for a shower, then went to work.

I was sent home after falling asleep at my desk for the third time.
