it's a terrible idea, it means that extremists get to decide who your MP is, it means the end of one person, on vote, the cornerstone of our democracy, it means that Nick Clegg will break every promise your MP makes, and finally, Australia has a version of the Alternative Vote and they don't like it, so therefore AV is a terrible, terrible idea.

well I like what we have.
I think it's fairer, because we don't have to worry about "tactics". We just rank them in preference and those preferences are tallied. Everybody gets a say.
