mainly blue. With stripes of lime green, white, maroon and deep pink. Paul Smith style, but by Ted Baker. I am wearing Paul Smith cufflinks with it.

TrickyI have to agree with your original assessment. The right purple might go with it as long as it's not too close to the maroon.
