but in Split the 'hostel' I'd booked in to turned out to be some random old lady in an attic renting out her spare rooms. So I didn't meet any people there which was a bit lame. I don't buy random holiday alcohol because I've more sense than money.

before I went away he was terrified of the idea of doing anything as commitment-y and couple-y as going on holiday, and now I've come back and told him I might have to move for work he's being all pouty and saying he wants a relationship, not a fling.
