I'm being seconded to do an exercise
that requires me travelling to another office, in order to ensure that the files they hold for a fund they manage on our behalf, have the correct data on them before they get transferred into defra, who are taking the programme back in house. There are about 1,356 of the bastards in total.

I am slightly impressed at the rate I'm getting through them, though, considering I had estimated that to have the exercise done by the 27th June deadline I'd need to do an average of 45 per day. But still, I'm bored shitless; I have no computer and there's usually about an hour's worth of downtime waiting for files each day, and none of the mean spirited cunts have offered me a cup of coffee since I've been there.
