True
they've really sealed off the chances of a miracle cure though, the actress must be leaving the show,

I'm not sure how old (IRL) the 'kid' actors are
So I suppose Uni and other life opportunities are probably resonable reasons for being written out.

But as the whole thing is a bit 'Hollyoaks' anyway, a high turnover of actors is par for the course anyway.

This is true
What do you think on the new English teacher?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:20, Reply)
This is the former Tory who spends the majority of her time sending people to the cooler, yes?
I fully expect some sort of 'big secret' to come out at some point.

Either that, or she ends up going out with Tom.

What do you make of the Maths teacher?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:22, Reply)
Yeah
it seems unrealistic. She's obviously a good teacher with no discipline problems, but Karen was giving the caretaker more autonomy than she was her.

The maths teacher, hmm, not sure. Surely he couldn't have thought that clothing looked good? What do you think of the caretaker?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:31, Reply)
He is lacking a Jerome Flynn and a number one hit that'll stay at the top of the charts for weeks!
There has got to be more to the English teacher than it appears. Expect scandal to follow shortly.

As for the Maths teacher, I thought Grantley was supposed to be the 'joke' teacher, but clearly not anymore. And where is the Home Ec woman now?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:41, Reply)
She's probably making money
off her romance novel.

Shall we take a bet on which episode Sam kicks the bucket in?
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:49, Reply)
Okay, I say.....
A pint (or similar) that it'll be the penultimate episode.
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:53, Reply)
I say the second to last
so they could do the obvious memorial business etc in the final one
(, Thu 19 May 2011, 23:59, Reply)
So just to be crystal.
You are saying there will be two more episodes in the series, AFTER Sam dies.
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:02, Reply)
no
one more. There will the dying episode, and then the final episode
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:04, Reply)
So we've made the same bet.
I can see only equal losers, or two rounds coming from this.

Either way, neither of us will be massive losers, so I approve of the bet.
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:08, Reply)
No you said the final episode
I'm saying the one before the final episode. Surely not the same?
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:10, Reply)
I said the penultimate episode!
Come on Oxford, get with it! :)
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:11, Reply)
Oops brainfail!
Fine, you have that, and I'll take the last one
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:12, Reply)
I don't know what I debated the point.
It'll probably cost me a drink!

I'll bet you only drink doubles.
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:13, Reply)
A single G&T will do fine
I'm assuming yours is a cider
(, Fri 20 May 2011, 0:15, Reply)
No. I'm off the cider. I have been few several weeks now.
I was getting really bad chest pains and feeling rotten with just a few pints inside me. Granted, this is probably the result of 18 years of cloudy, but I'm staying away from the apples for a bit.

Either a nice, premium lager, a glass of dry white wine or a vodka will suffice.

*Prays for the timely death of the TV character!*

How is Uni going? (see you on the left if we are too far to the right)
