You like folk music, right AB?
What're your views on Comus? Have you any? Would you class them as folk? Also do you know the super-rare Fresh Maggots LP?

Really? I see. Interesting.

I have no idea who these people are.

The correct response would have been "They are Fucking Shit"

5 minute's work on youtube appears to support this hypothesis.
Sounds like a 70's novelty act trying to be Steeleye Span.

You people look up to this man as an arbiter of taste?
No fucking wonder Chompy's your best poster.

Monty an 'arbiter of taste'?!
pff! he just has a lot of opinions. Mostly that things he doesn't like are fucking shit

Trouble is, if this Comus chappy is anything to go by, so are the things that he likes.

(, Thu 26 May 2011, 18:34, Reply)
Hahah no they do not.

They are both good - albeit in Comus's case a bit fucking odd.
My grandfather was a Scottish folksongs expert who compiled the Oxford Book of Ballads amongst others. He used to visit working men's clubs etc in search of traditional songs. Fascinating, I know.
