in fact the police once came to one of the big larp events (few thousand people) because they were suspicious that there was so few recorded incidents (ie stealing, etc) you'd expect at such a large gathering of people

and has since the early 90s, I think they are just flummoxed by it. I think it's because people can steal and act like arses in character, so they don't need to otherwise.

*lammie= laminated card with stats on.
actually I know a guy who was drunk at larp and a bit violent, someone cast a sleep spell on him and he actually fell asleep. POwer of suggestion
