Either thator they genuinely don't think they've done anything wrong. Sorry, but if you're thick enough to attend a party in someone else's house and then not consider the ramifications of not clearing the evidence away then you deserve everything you get.

I'm sure it wouldn't be beyond them to club together to get you a bottle of wine and to stick a card through the door.I wonder if they've been told to 'stay away' for the time being though.
