Why yes, yes I do.
What sort of stuff would you like me to promote? Country? Post rock? Breaks? DnB? Drone Metal?

Green on Red

The band that inspired Cowboy Junkies

I love Cowboy Junkies.

So do I
Saw 'em in Alberquerque.

If anyone ever gets bored of my gratuitous US namedrops just say.

But Cowboy Junkies owed their stuff to Green on Red and Dream Syndicate - to an extent to Flying Burrito Brothers as well.

I am on a mad nineties tip right now.
I got into trip hop pretty much directly from, and parallel to, heavy metal. Tricky did some superb work then his massive weed intake made him go mental and lose it.

This is a great track, and shares its lyrics with Karmacoma by Massive Attack.

You pilchard.

That's the joke!

Yeah, that rolls nicely
I'm not liking the D&B shite that you inflict upon us.

Take it you didn't get that job - it's been a while.

I didn't.
Even though one of the interviewers was an Old Boy.

And I hardly ever inflict DnB on peeps here, I'm not exactly a big DnB head anymore, though I nearly did a little sex wee when I saw Goldie is mixing the next FabricLive compilation.
