The extremes people will go through to try to avoid

Joking aside, if you've seen some of the shit parents let kids get away with, you'll know what I mean.
I don't think kids should have belts taken to them, but parents seem to be so *weak*

"Oh no, Tarquin, you mustn't do that, you should be a good little boy"

Or they simply ignore them. My mum didn't batter me when I misbehaved, but she did deny me things. When she said no, she meant no, no matter how much I screamed about it.

And that was only last year!
