I'm a pathetic, hopeless romanticand it's my favourite of Meg Ryan's films. And Kevin Kline makes a fantastic Frenchman. And it has Jean Reno in it.

I heard an amusing anecdote about the making of French Kiss, which as a linguist I'm confident you will enjoyMeg Ryan apparently asked Kevin Kline to improve her French pronounciation, and obviously being Kevin Kline he's good at everything. She asked him how to correctly pronounce the French for "thank you very much", and he told her to enunciate the "l" at the end of the sentence.
