We've just had episode 6 of what, Google informes me, is 30 episodes.

That switch from the end of last series to the beginning of this one really confused me.
Some of the characters seem to have aged about three years in the last 12 months.

For some reason there was no real gap between the end of the last series and the start of the current one.
They've made no reference to whatshisface falling off that bridge either.

Also, there seems to be no mention ever of the fact that he and Amy were madly in love once.
