I'm currently reading a bookwhere God comes back from a fishing holiday (from Renaissance until present day) and finds that the world has got all fucked up. He goes to see Jesus who is having a jam with Jimi Hendrix, and ends up sending him back to Earth to sort things out.
He fails to do so by the old method, so he tries forming a band which doesn't go anywhere, so he basically goes on American X Factor.
That is as far as I have got. It's fairly amusing though, if riddled with temporal anomolies.
