I'm not trying to impresses youI'm mearly stating that to not wear a belt leaves an outfit incomplete and makes you look like an internet lock in leaving space for his wotsit stretched gut.

not true. see below.depends entirely on the outfit. A gentleman certainly shouldn't wear a belt in conjunction with a jacket, for instance.
