Unless there's a Hawkfest, no I'm not, unless you count Carnival.
Alt: festivals are fucking rubbish nowadays, with their cash machines and gymnasia etc. The bands are all shit as well - and one's fellow attendees are guaranteed to be a bunch of benders in waki hats too.

I have a straw hat I'm going to take
I'll say things like "rad" ironically.

I wear an ugly patterend fishing hat at festivals.
I also wore it on my honeymoon.

It's ironic. It's not that I actually like it.

It'd probably only be ironic
if you actually were using it to describe the ratio of an arc length to its radius.

I'm going with a bunch of friends.
A large group, so thankfully I won't have to deal with idiots much. I encountered a large group of idiots at V Festival on the one time I went. Never again.

Cash machines are useful though.

They are that.
As the 3 hours you spend queuing to use it, is 3 hours where you aren't watching McFly or Britney.

I used to go to a go to 8-10 a year in the days of the Free Festivals
but I shall spare you the tedious reminiscences. Suffice it to say they don't make 'em like they used to.

This was the best one ever: www.ukrockfestivals.com/treworgey-tree-fayre-1989.html

The smaller festivals still have that spirit I reckon.
Mainly because the show-offs know nothing about them.
