I frequently find myself put out that Planet Rock and other such classic rock type media
overlook bands like Bigelf and some of Clutch's output. and Black Mountain.

Outstanding bands that embody everything that the aforementioned media pupport to be about.

Give it time, we'll all be joining in.
Although I'd bet serious money that Darth secretly listens to Coldplay.

Today I listened to this

Which was rather relaxing to work to

I'll have a listen to that when I get home.
It beats the sound of the cunt with the masonry drill stood three feet away from me.

Last night I watched some Mahavishnu Orchestra live footage on YouTube.
It's technically impressive but a little bit pompous and flashy - but excellent musicianship - excellent rhythm section. I also listened to some live work John McLaughlin did with Carlos Santana - pretty trippy stuff and redolent of Steve Hillage at times. I found it more listenable than JM's solo noodling.
