When I was doing my degree, we had to study mixed social and private housing
The private houses on the estate were thrown up in the usual manner, but the social housing had a higher build spec, and more space inside with extra storage.

After a while, when they found out, the private owners got all uppity and complained to the builders.

Who promptly told them to fuck off.

Did I mention this was in Milton Keynes?

There is a flat in Enfield that I really want to buy, I've almost lived there 3 times now, it's an awesome building with a lift and siwmming pool and gym and about 3 minutes into Enfield Town Centre, and it has a consiurge.
I still really want to live there, except everyone has bought-to-let, and because there were so many people let out cheap, and because people let out cheap, all sorts of unsavory types live there now, and there is loud music in a few of the flats every night.

Why does scum always have to ruin good stuff?
