I would also dearly love to have been presentwhen the Spaniards first went to Central America, to have seen what it was like before they fucking destroyed it all from greed and religious intolerance. I’ll bet it was amazing.
I’d also like to have been present at Trafalgar, the trouncing of the Armada, Masada, Flodden, El Alamein, Rorke’s Drift, Waterloo, Stalingrad, Battle of Issus, fucking hell loads of them.
