I would be interested to hear where this decent campsite isspecifically if it's north coast, Woolacombe kind of way. Or if you know anywhere round there with a decent campsite and board/wetsuit rental?

it's in Cornwall, about halfway between Padstow and Newquay.near Woolacombe I would recommend a place called Little Roadway Farm.
For hire I'd go to Surfed Out, either in Braunton, or at the beach at Saunton.
