It's lovely outside
so I feel I ought to do something that isn't being sat in bed on my laptop. I really don't know what, though - after the rain yesterday I suspect it's still too damp to sit in the park...

I'm sure the park has a bench you could use berk.
Why not go to the park, sit on a bench and read a newspaper.

You could get yourself an ice-cream as well.

I guess if it's still "too damp to sit in the park" you could choose another activity, such as "read a 'book' on a 'bench' ", if you know what I mean.

I don't think there are any benches in the park
that aren't in the shade. I don't want to sit in the shade!

Maybe "lay down" a "blanket" so you don't get "muddy" ?

Stop being naughty.
Have you finished being a Jew? Was it OK?

Yup, I was asked on thursday night/friday morning not to go, no bad reason or anything for it though.
so I'm meeting them up for coffee next week instead, and I've been texting every day.

My guts have been really bad over the last few days, but will be Getting On With Stuff (and have been, just other stuff, got all my finacnes and paperwork in order now, plus saw the flat yesterday again, speaking to builders, working out what stuff I need to buy...etc etc) in a few hours when my guts stop hurting so much.

Have you actually completed buying the flat, then?
Also...sorry to hear you're feeling bad but glad you're getting stuff done.

Nah', not even close yet, but the financial advisor is instructed to go for the mortgage, they want to sale to us, we want to buy from them, and wherever I move I'm going to get new white-goods so need to look into prices of them anyway.
Completed selling of the other property though.
